Designed by Whimsy Creative Studio, the Street Surfer bus is a whimsical blend of surf, basketball and fun!
Transformed from a 2010 shuttle bus.
This unique experience is owned by Urban Hope.
Incredibly grateful for the opportunity to help Urban Hope Indy upgrade their shuttle bus into the Street Surfer for youth mentors.
Urban Hope runs a youth mentorship program for Indianapolis youth in poverty, recognizing 2 major facts:
1. Mentors are the most inportant factor preventing impovershiped youth from backsliding into drug addiction, crime, etc.
2. Poverty moves- meaning kids quickly change community centers, church’s, schools, sports teams regurlary, thus losing their mentors
Urban Hope will use the “Street Surfer” to help transport youth to their mentors, and with a new paint job, basketball hoop, stereo, fun decor, we aim to make the ride more engaging, fun and raise awareness for this program in Indianapolis.
