Hoopbus
Whimsy Creative Studio is the engineering and maintenance team behind the Hoopbus. Since 2022 we have built 4 Hoopbuses from the ground up and oversee fleet upgrades, maintenance, logistics and operation across the US. Hoopbus is a non-profit that builds community through basketball with PE Takeovers and high energy community events, doing over 500 events annually.
Coolman Coffe Truck
In partnership with social media animator Coolman, Ollipop, Saratoga Water and Jaja Tequila, we created the Cool Coffee truck as a mobile activation for 2024 Art Basel complete with coffee machine, interior lounge, rooftop deck, basketball hoop and rooftop character. Whimsy Creative Studio did 3D design, engineering and lead production, with Sky Food Trucks Miami as the fabricator.
Golden Gate Hoop cart
We created the Golden Gate Hoop Cart to celebrate the 2025 All Star Weekend in San Francisco with the goal of finding Steph Curry - and on the last day we caught him a few hours before the All Star Game and he got a bucket on the Hoop Cart! :)
Urban Hope Street Surfer
In 2025 we helped Urban Hope transform their transport bus into the Street Surfer to help keep underprivileged kids in East Indianapolis connected with their mentors, regardless of where they move in the city.
